ABOUT ROOFDOG STUDIO
Roofdog Studio was founded during the pandemic — a time when connection, creative purpose, and a sense of joy felt hard to comeby. It started as a way to stay grounded in sound and storytelling, and grew into a studio built around helping projects translate clearly and hold up wherever they’re heard.
Like a lot of people during that time, I got a dog. Theo is the official mascot of Roofdog Studio — equal parts security, sidekick, and vibes manager.
The name “Roofdog” isn’t just a reference. The studio sits tucked beneath the rooftop of my apartment building in San Francisco’s Upper Haight. Dogs run free against a backdrop of St. Ignatius, downtown, the bay, and the hills beyond — with the occasional roar drifting over from Kezar Stadium. It’s where I reset, think, and come back to the work with fresh ears.
